The enzyme face mask is a treatment exfoliant with a creamy texture based on the fruit enzymes papain and bromelain. It is suitable for almost all skin types, including more sensitive skin (depending on the type of sensitivity).

It does not contain classic acids for exfoliation and is therefore a more adequate alternative for skin prone to irritation or for easier integration into a routine with retinoids and other stronger active ingredients.

The mask enriched with Teflose® active complex, beta-glucan and pineapple extract gently removes dead skin cells and makes the complexion smoother and fresher, and can be used up to several times a week.

In addition to exfoliation itself, the mask hydrates the skin and helps prevent irregularities. It is applied to clean and dry skin in the evening, left on for 15-20 minutes and then washed off. For a better effect on more resistant skin, it can (and is recommended) be left on longer or overnight. In the evenings when this mask is applied, it is not recommended to apply retinoids and/or acids, and the skin should be protected with SPF during the day.

Note: No added fragrances. The product has a herbal smell due to the raw materials themselves.

Key Ingredients

PAPAIN and BROMELAIN are natural proteolytic enzymes that break down proteins, in this case dead skin cells, into peptides and then into amino acids. Amino acids are then absorbed (returned to the skin), which ensures hydration, strengthening of the skin's barrier function and renewal. At the same time, the enzymes form an amino acid layer on the skin that improves moisturizing and ensures better absorption of other cosmetic ingredients. With long-term use, they lighten and even out the complexion and ensure freshness.

TEFLOSE® polysaccharide complex is an active complex aimed at maintaining a balanced skin microbiota. This is why it is extremely desirable in the care of acne-prone skin (C.acnes). It has an anti-inflammatory, soothing and regenerative effect.

PINEAPPLE EXTRACT has a high-value nutritional profile of vitamins and minerals, especially beta-carotene and vitamin A, which contributes to the overall balance of the skin.

BETA-GLUCAN is a polysaccharide (complex sugar) and by its action is a humectant, which means that it attracts water and thus hydrates the skin. It has multiple properties on the skin. First of all, it hydrates the skin extremely well. Certain studies have shown that beta-glucan has a 20% stronger effect compared to the same percentage of hyaluronic acid, and it is also known for giving the "plump" effect of fullness to the skin. In addition, it prevents cell damage induced by UV radiation, has a restorative and soothing effect and protects the hydrolipidic barrier from all environmental stressors.

How to use

Enzyme face mask can be used in two ways.

1. Apply it on clean and dry skin, leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then wash it off.
2. If the skin is resistant and insensitive, apply it in the evening after cleansing and let it work overnight.

After the mask, it is necessary to moisturize the skin abundantly. Parallel use with exfoliants and retinoids in the same routine is not recommended. It is necessary to protect the skin from UV radiation every day.
