One way to stimulate hair growth from the outside is to apply lotions and oils to the scalp. Such products are usually based on the power of traditionally used natural ingredients such as fenugreek, rosemary, burdock or castor oil. In this blog article, we provide detailed information on how to use one such oil, Rosemary Clove Scalp Oil. Find out who it is intended for (and who it is not for) and how to combine it with other hair care products.
Massage is key with the use of oil
Rosemary clove oil is intended for scalp care. This nourishing oil, based on rosemary and clove essential oils, helps with massage to improve blood circulation in the skin, reduce hair loss and promote faster hair growth. It contributes to more pronounced hair density and volume, nourishes and nourishes. The product has a pleasant herbal-spicy scent. It is important to note that this product is pre-formulated and ready to use on the scalp. Also, due to the influence of rosemary essential oil, when using this oil, it is possible that the light shades of the hair may change. This usually happens with damaged, bleached or high-porosity hair.
Rosemary Clove Scalp Oil is intended for those who want to stimulate hair growth and reduce hair loss, but it is not recommended for scalp care where seborrheic dermatitis is present or any sensitivity to essential oils is present. In the case of seborrhea, severe itching and scaling around the edge of the scalp (but also, for example, around the eyebrows and along the edge of the nose), non-oil-based products are more suitable, such as Fenugreek and Rosemary Lotion Against Hair Loss and, of course, targeted products such as Neem Lotion Against Dandruff (since such phenomena are a priority for solving). Since the goal is to stimulate blood circulation in the skin, it is crucial to gently but firmly massage the scalp when applying this oil. A great trick is to apply it immediately before vigorous physical activity.
Apply to dry scalp before washing
Using Rosemary Clove Scalp Oil is simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The oil is applied to a dry scalp before washing your hair and massaged for at least 5, and ideally 10 minutes. You can use your own palms or a dedicated massager (which must be gentle enough, not rough). Since this oil is used on the scalp, it is not necessary to apply it to the rest of the hair, but other oils such as Amla Hair Oil or Argan Macadamia Oil can be used for the length. Also, Rosemary and Clove Scalp Oil is not used simultaneously with other scalp care products, but exclusively on its own. In case it is combined with Fenugreek and Rosemary Lotion, the oil is used less frequently than the lotion (say every 3rd or 4th wash). After the massage, it is recommended to wrap the head in a warm towel or an old T-shirt and let the oil sit and take effect. It is enough to apply it for half an hour to a maximum of several hours. Leaving it overnight could be too much for some scalps and cause clogged pores or irritation. Less is always more!
After the oil has been applied, it is necessary to wash your hair. Proper hair washing involves first wetting your head thoroughly, then taking a small amount of shampoo in your palms, working it into a lather and massaging it into your scalp. After a few minutes of shampooing, the scalp is rinsed, and the procedure is always repeated when using oil packs (the hair is shampooed twice). Products such as the treatment Castor Oil Shampoo or the Natural Shampoo Buckthorn and Orange can be used for washing.
Washing your hair once or twice a week is not often enough
It is important to emphasize that for a scalp prone to hair loss, it is crucial and extremely important to wash your hair regularly . This keeps the pores clean, reduces the retention of styling products and sebum on the surface of the scalp, and thus eliminates the possibility of inflammatory processes. Just as regular cleansing is necessary for the skin of the face, so is the scalp, which is practically an extension of the face.
